Downtown Nashville Couples Session
When I travel, I can’t help myself but try to book a session in that new location. Being from Montana, I don’t get many city vibes or the chance to shoot in an urban setting. I knew when I decided to go to a small business conference in Nashville, that I HAD TO book a session when I was there and I was not disappointed at all. I ended up booking two sessions. For this first session, we met down at Printer’s Alley for some iconic pictures and then headed down to the river for a slightly different vibe.
It pushed me out of my comfort zone, but also got my creative mind spinning. There were people moving around in the background, cars, and various other things that I’m not used to having to look out for when paying attention to my backgrounds. Normally the only things that are moving are tree branches. It added a new aspect that made me work my mind a little more.
This is exactly why I took the time to do this session. Pushing my boundaries of what I know only makes me a better photographer. I hope that you can take some inspiration to step out of your comfort zone and try something at least a little bit different than your normal.
Have an idea for something that might be a little out of the norm? Let’s start planning.
Abby & Mario
I saw him at a bar on New Years one year and said to my sisters, “Him! I want Him.” As we built up courage to go talk to him, he was walking out the door and I thought I would never see him again. My one sister and I went home. My other sister called me at 1am. She met that guy and had him friend me on fb! The next morning, I messaged him pretending to be embarrassed by my sister and we continued to talk that week. He kept joking about his love for Chipotle and somehow we agreed on meeting there for our first “date.” The following week, we met there and talked for 3 hrs!! We kept going on dates and it kept getting better. He told me later on that he new he at least wanted to make me his gf after that first date:) It was easy and effortless to fall in love with him and we got married a year and a half later!!
