Hardscrabble Ranch Wedding | Bozeman, Montana
What is better than being nestled in the the mountains with a view of Ross Peak for your ceremony? With having lived in Bozeman for most of my life, I am definitely partial to those Bridger views. When Nick and Lucinda reached out about their wedding, my excitement was next level. The chance to photograph something I love in an area I love. HECK YES!
These two were nothing short of themselves on their wedding day. It was evident throughout everything that they planned. From them orchestrating their own ceremony and officiating it themselves to their speeches during toasts. They wanted everyone they invited to be a special part of their day. Not just as on lookers. It was one of the most sincere and heartfelt weddings I had been to in a long time.
Nick & Lucinda
Nick and I met in undergrad at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Our friend groups were really close throughout college. We spent a lot of time together, even though it took us a while to figure out that we were interested in each other. We actually didn't start dating until after he graduated and left campus. We have spent probably about half of our relationship long distance. He proposed the day after our ten-year anniversary in January 2021 by taking me on a horse-drawn sleigh ride along the Gallatin River. It was lightly snowing and I don't think it could have been any more perfect.
