Hiking Elopement | Helena Montana
It was a chilly day. That didn’t stop us from having an amazing little hiking elopement near Helena, Montana filled with good food, drinks and all that you could wish for a small intimate elopement in the Montana winds and temperatures.
Cody & Anika
Cody and I are truly best friends. As cheesy as it sounds, we really are and he is my other half. We met online and talked for about a week before meeting in person for our first date. We both admit that we had no expectations of this becoming anything, but now we are engaged. We recently moved to Montana. We had everything for the move ready to go, in place, and told our families about two weeks before we moved here. They were shocked, is it putting it lightly, but happy for us.
Cody proposed back home in Southwest WA. He took me to the spot we would always go to have picnic lunches. It was a picture perfect day. I knew the proposal was coming and that he had my ring, but had no idea when or where he would ask. He didn’t tell anybody that he was asking that day or anything about what was happening. We got engaged four days before we moved to Montana. We had actually spent the day prior packing up the trailer so it was ready for moving day. Funny thing, I don’t remember anything of what he said when he asked, I just remember the actual question and him opening the ring box.
