Winter Reeder’s Alley Family Session | Helena, Montana
Personally, I think all families and couples need to have at least one session in every season. Don’t let the cold steer you away from a winter session. The snow on the mountains adds a feel to the pictures that you can’t get from any other season. And you get extra props and high fives for braving the cold.
This family was no exception. They had recently moved from somewhere a lot warmer and although they had grown up in a climate with colder temps, it’s not what they were currently used to. That didn’t stop them from braving the cold January days to capture their family in their new town. They wanted pictures in an area that felt like Helena, so we hit up the historic Reeder’s Alley and then headed to Mount Helena. This brought some great views of our town and captured exactly what they were looking for.
I love that there are places nearby that can capture how everyone see’s their family. It can be off in the mountains, chilling by a lake or spending time on the walking mall. Let’s pick a session location that feels like you and your family.
