Having an adventurous bridal session as part of your wedding weekend is a must. From having a jam packed day to being surrounded by others, having this will give you a wedding weekend that is more cherished, enjoyable and remembered.
Here are my top reasons why an adventurous bridal session is a MUST!
Busy Day - Your day is going to be BUSY my friend. Anything that you can do to take things off the list or extended it out will help immensely. You never want to feel rushed on your wedding day, so having a timeline is a must. However, you might not be able to get in all the time you'd like for pictures of the two of you. There are so many different groupings of people that you don't want to miss. Make more time for you another day.
Others Around You - Often during first looks or your bridal shots, there are friends and family gawking over your shoulder somewhere watching. It is hard to feel like you two are alone and having that intimate time together. Not all locations allow you the freedom to be alone, so why not plan for this.
More Time - You won't feel as rushed if you schedule separate bridal session. You get to negotiate with the photographer for as much time as you want. You can spend some time hiking to the perfect location and really get some intimate time together to reflect on each other.
Epic/Adventurous Location - Pick that location that you've been dreaming of for your adventurous bridal session. Especially if having an elopement isn't for you, this can get you those epic shots you've always wanted. Maybe this location is on your honeymoon and not even in the town you got married. It can be anywhere friends. Dream big. It's your wedding. It doesn't have to stop at the ceremony day.
Relaxing - This is a great time to focus on each other and your love. To hear each other's voices rather than everyone else's. I'd encourage you to take some time and write each other a love letter separate from the vows you've shared in front of everyone else. Really dig in deep to your love for each other and let it shine.
