Moose Creek Campground

We headed towards Moose Creek Campground outside of Helena, Montana. Hoping for a snow on the ground, it had been disappearing rapidly near town, we found it. We were excited to see snow on the ground when we arrived at Moose Creek Campground. The light was perfect. The snow wasn't crispy and the sky light up the surrounding mountain sides. It made for the perfect session. Well, I personally think we can make a session perfect no matter what the conditions are.

Now enough from me. Let's meet the couple.

Jeff & Erika

We met at Carroll College and would always study in the same room in the library together. At the time we were just acquaintances. He would occasionally tease me and joke around. Eventually he got my number and attempted to talk to me a lot more (I wasn’t about it at first although he was super kind and friendly). He played football and I was a cheerleader. In October of 2014 we traveled to the Tech/Carroll game in Butte which is one of Carrolls biggest rivalry games and we won! Afterwards we were all celebrating, he was there too. Because I had no interest, I would never text him back. That night I apologized for ignoring him and thought to myself what do I have to lose. We started hanging out a lot more and became inseparable.

Random Kiss

The year prior a random guy had asked me to kiss him on the cheek and he ended up turning and kissing me on the lips. I was furious and went and told my friends how disgusting it was that this random guy who I didn’t know would turn and kiss me on the lips. After Jeff and I had started dating, he said, “remember that one time I asked you to kiss me on the cheek and I kissed you on the lips?” I had no idea that it was him and at the time I didn’t know him at all! Now, here we were a year later actually dating. We’ve now been dating for over 5 years.

Jeff is extremely kind hearted, and loves helping others. He is definitely the more outgoing, sarcastic one, and is always down to go out and have fun! Whereas I’m more of the reserved, more serious, homebody. Together we are a perfect balance for each other. My favorite thing about Jeff is his tender heart. He cares a lot for people and would drop anything to help someone in need. 

Pushing each other to become the best version of ourselves

We love all things outdoors! Hiking, fishing, skiing/snowboarding, and exploring new places, we love to travel. We are both extremely goal oriented and have big dreams so together we enjoy growing through personal development and breakthrough. Pushing each other to become the best version of ourselves. We are continually growing as individuals and as a couple! 

Exploring new locations with my couples is a top favorite thing of mine. Sometimes we just get in the car and head in a general direction of a location and it makes for the perfect adventure session. Being flexible to stop wherever inspiration hits, can make for the most magical moments and pictures.
