Central Oregon Couples Photography

We've all heard of these falls down in central Oregon, but have never taken the jaunt down there to see them for ourselves. With hidden beauty all over this country and state, it is usually in the places that you least expect it to be. This was the middle of nowhere, yet nestled in a small canyon was this unexpected beauty. These falls did not disappoint. This was a central Oregon couples photography dream. White River Falls had multiple areas to let a photographer's creativity flow. I even attempted a few shots that I normally wouldn't have done. It was well worth the adventure. These two lovebirds are newlyweds. And I mean like two months ago! The newlywed vibes were strong and I loved every minute of being behind the camera capturing them. Below is a little snippet from something they wrote up for their wedding day. I love their outdoor spirits and love for nature and each other.

Their Story by both Garrett & Alexa

Their mutual love for the outdoors, good beer, and the grace of Jesus sparked their romance in downtown Tacoma, Washington. She swooned over his honest and loyal character, and he loved her kind and trustworthy nature. From the birthday trip Garrett planned for Alexa through the Olympic Peninsula, a dinner with her family that featured spicy chicken wings, to a trip to visit his family in Florida, they had that feeling, "when you know, you know."

Their relationship was solidified through hikes in forests and national parks, cross-country road trips, and long conversations. He always cooked breakfast after a night of camping and she faithfully washed dishes in a cold creek. During a winter wonderland hike through snowy trees with a final destination of the cascading Tamanawas Falls, their adventure became even more exciting when Garrett got down on one knee and asked Alexa to spend the rest of their lives together. She smiled and agreed, so here we are!

With an overwhelming sense of gratitude for their families and a great deal of appreciation for their friends, their wedding day in Trout Lake was one for the books.

Let's go explore somewhere new. Whether it is in Oregon, Washington, Montana or somewhere new, I'm all about finding something new. Let's book a plane ticket and go on a hike. Contact me now to get started here
