Our Farmhouse | This is Us | Montana Family
I've been promising house pictures to my Instagram friends since we moved in at the end of January. It's the beginning of April and I'm finally following through. MOSTLY. We bought an 1880 farmhouse that has been fixed up. We've been loving our farmhouse. It has been even better than expected and I'm more thankful for a house during quarantine than I ever thought possible.
I only took pictures of the main level and none of our son's room because both were messy and I didn't want to pick up any more. The real charm is in the main living area of our farmhouse anyways. The boys room has painted wood paneling and carpet. It has its interesting things, but nothing too charming. The upstairs has the fun slanted ceilings/walls. Maybe sometime I'll get around to sharing it. I'm not promising anything though. We have two rooms up there, a bathroom and a landing that is our kiddos play area (currently covered in lego builds).
Our Farmhouse
Alright, so here is our little farmhouse. The main level has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are gorgeous wood elements throughout keeping a somewhat modern farmhouse feel. I like farmhouse, but my taste is more of a mix between it and scandinavian styles. I'm thankful they didn't go too heavy on the farmhouse during the remodel. It is perfect for us.
We have a few small tasks we'd like to eventually undertake, but we are so thankful for a house that doesn't need to be remodeled. Living in this house has brought us so much joy already. I hope you enjoy a little glimpse into our house.
P.S. If anyone wants an in home couples session, I'm totally game for using my house. Please send me a message here! I'd love to shoot you two making cookies or coffee!
