Rorey & Nicole | Couples Photography Hood River

Couples Photography Hood River

A few weeks back I had the opportunity to drive over to Hood River to meet up with Rorey and Nicole for a couples photography Hood River session. I have known Nicole for years and it was fun to take pictures of her and her boyfriend. She is a natural and just loved every minute of being photographed. That always make for a great photography session. We planned the session to be in the middle of golden hour, but the rain and clouds showed up. We didn't get that beautiful golden light, but the rain cleared which made for a beautiful evening.

Downtown

We started the evening off in downtown Hood River. We spent over an hour wandering around taking pictures, but we did not wander too far. There were so many great spots to take pictures that we did not make it, but only a block or two. With the different winery buildings and the Mount Hood Railway area, we did not need to go any further. It was starting to rain again, so we took off to go find some scenery hoping that Mount Hood would decide to pop out.

Panorama Point

The clouds were starting to clear a little by the time we made it over to Panorama Point. This was my first time over at this beautiful location. The Hood River Valley was in full bloom which made for an amazing background. Being from Montana, I have never seen so many trees blooming in the spring. The mountain started to slowly peek out, but it only gave us a glimpse of the base. The valley still made for a wonderful session.I am excited for more photography sessions over in Hood River. It reminds me a little of downtown Bozeman. There is just a multitude of things to photograph and unique background options.
