I thought I'd take some time to get a little personal for you today and help you to get to know me a little better. There is a huge reason I keep pursuing my passion as a couples photographer. It is not only because of my love of photography, my love of a lasting marriage, but my family behind the scenes. This is Us.

This is Us. This is Me. This is my Family.

I first and foremost a wife to my amazing husband, Brent. He has stood beside me through all my ups and downs of figuring out life as an entrepreneur. He will be the first to tell you it isn't easy. I need him to help keep me grounded through all of it. I haven't gotten it all figured out and I know there is still so much to learn and more to grow.

I am a mom to two beautiful boys. Both who have changed me. They have given me more of a passion for this business, for life and for all the things I've been doing in life. They bring the crazy, sleepless nights and the most fierceful love I could have ever imagined. It's a love that is different than any love I have ever experienced before.

They are my Why.

All of my boys are the reason I keep going. Sometimes that means I have early morning hours and other times that means late nights. I want to show my young boys what it means to work hard. I want to show my husband my passion for this path I've taken and that I love him harder because of this. I am not ashamed to admit that my why also has to do with paying off my house to live a better life. To live debt free and to spend more time together as a family. This is very important to us. We are working hard to be stewards of our own money and to tell it where to go. It pushes us to pursue our passions even more.

The best thing though. Through all the ups and downs, when I'm out there being me and getting behind the camera, it is all worth it. When I show my four year old my work and he gets excited about taking pictures, it's all worth it. When my husband takes his time to help me by watching kids or whatever is needed for me to pursue this, it's all worth it.
