Wildflowers and Mountains | Helena Montana Engagement Session
There isn’t anything much better than showing up to an engagement session in the mountains and the wildflowers are out in full force. Not sure if this gets my clients going, but it sure gets me going. Also, showing up to an engagement session where the fiancé thinks that they won a session when in reality it’s paid for because the bride to be is planning a surprise wedding.
Ya. You read that right. She didn’t know what else to tell him other than they won a session off of Instagram. There we were in the mountains, me trying to act like I had never met her before. Yet it wasn’t that hard after I asked enough questions and just avoided chatting about wedding details. Which for anyone else, would have been a little bit of a sign that I was up to something. Even if I know that I won’t be the one photographing their wedding, I love knowing all the details. It’s kind of why I do this thing. I love hearing your stories.
Jasyn and Cole
It’s actually a surprise wedding for my fiancé! He really wants to be married and has just been suggesting the court house. His joke is he did his job, it’s my job to plan the wedding and he just needs an invitation. His friends and family are surprising him (from Ohio) the week of the wedding with themselves and an invitation to our wedding that weekend. (More on this when you see their wedding blog in the future.)
We love to travel, do things we never done, have people over, create memories! We are both pretty care free before pregnancy we were spontaneously booking flights and going wherever we could! We hope to find adventure in hiking this summer, trying to DIY our new home and experiencing parenthood. And planning a surprise wedding too! A recent adventure of ours is the deer - Cole is from Ohio, where the deer don't roam the neighborhoods, so it is a race to the window every time one of them is in our yard!
