A mom & her boys | Reeder’s Alley Family Session in Helena, Montana

Sometimes, you just need a session with your boys. As a mom, you tend to always take the pictures with almost no evidence that you actually exist within your family. As a mom myself, I know this tends to happen more often then not. My camera roll is full of pictures of my kids, but lacking any of them with myself. I am not 100% sure that this is how Kayla felt with her three boys, but nonetheless, she deserved this session with her boys.

With it being a wintery January day, we stayed close to town and hit up the iconic and historic Reeder’s Alley in Helena, Montana. The perfect place to see some Montana mountains peeking above the buildings with a fun brick flair for a background. Well, that’s enough from me. Here is a little about Kayla and her boys.

My oldes is in love with music and plays piano, sax and guitars. He has a funny sense of humor, but mostly shy. My middle son is 10! He has a heart of gold and always wants to make people feel special, he also has amazing dimples! He loves sports and spending time w friends. My baby is almost 6!! He is hilarious, witty and gives this mama a run for her money. But he has a lot of love to give his big bros. We love Jesus and I pray lots with my boys.

I will say for me, I’m looking to capture their ages and this time. For some reason I have just wanted to stop time and keep them these ages. I have never done a mommy shoot with them & can’t wait to do it! I want to have pictures that capture the strength it takes to be a boy mom! You know, there’s something special about raising men and being strong enough to do it! 

Sometimes, all you need is to book that mommy and me session. No matter how old your kids are.
