Friends! I am beyond excited to share this amazing boho styled elopement shoot with you all. It has been a dream of mine to shoot an elopement like this. Since it wasn't happening on it's own, I made it happen! I've been eyeing boho styled elopements for the past year or so, but I never had the content to advertise myself as a photographer for one. But I LOVED LOVED the style. It was killing me to not shoot an elopement like this.
At the end of last year, I met another local photographer, Katie from Katie Sue Photography. We were just spouting off our dreams and goals when we landed on wanting to do exactly this. After months of dreaming with each other, we finally sat down and put it together. My nerves and fears were getting the better of me. But I finally said enough and sent those darn emails out to other vendors. These vendors are also all local to the Helena area. We wanted to make sure that it stayed local to promote the vendors closest to our area. It all couldn't have worked out any better.
Everyone said yes! I mean they said YES!!!! They were all on board with a boho styled elopement. We found a couple and everything kept falling into place. THEN...covid happened. I had a few restless nights wondering how to make everything work out or if it would at all. Hours of work gone? I kept letting fear strike me again. Well...Our governor opened things up again just in time for us to have our shoot. It's not hard to stay socially distanced with only a few vendors needing to be present and standing behind a camera almost the entire time.
