Columbia River Gorge Wedding in Stevenson, Washington | Wedding Photographer

The weather forecast kept changing and starting to look rainier and rainier. It was typical for a Columbia River Gorge wedding in May. Nothing like changing a brides plans from an outdoor wedding to an indoor wedding. It is hard to not get disappointed or upset when your day changes. Friends, it happens. And you've got to roll with the punches, but don't let it ruin your day! Let's focus on the goal of the wedding and that's to get you married to your best friend!

Also, it's actually very good luck to have it pouring cats and dogs on your big day. Well, at least that is what my Puerto Rican professor told me back in college when the weather was looking pretty poor for my big day as well.

Moving along, the rain didn't let up and it continued to pour, but that didn't keep this bride from enjoying her big day and it shouldn't have! I loved that she just went with what needed to happen rather than let it get her down and ruin her day. She moved her decorations inside and it couldn't have turned out any better.

I was able to be the second shooter for Kathy Pothier Photography for this Columbia River Gorge wedding. It was nice to work with a fellow photographer in the area. I love watching other photographers work and to be apart of their team for the day. Working together with another photographer is one of my favorite things. You can learn from each other, plus the community you get when you work together is the best.

Can I be apart of your day?

I'd love to be a part of your big day! Send me an inquiry here!
