Something Different | Newborn Lifestyle
I have been typically sticking to couples sessions lately. When my friends and previous clients wanted a newborn lifestyle session, I couldn't say no. These have to be my favorite style of family photos. I took plenty of my own family recently with our new little addition. Take a look here. Maybe I'm not huge into family photography because you have to deal with a bunch of kids and getting them all to participate without them all blowing up. I try my hardest, but it is not my photography strength. I try and connect with each kiddo and discover something they like. This sure helps them feel more comfortable and helps me to connect with them.
I like having my couples run around and create authentic moments. I've been trying to translate those prompts and ideas into family sessions. It has definitely made them more enjoyable for me. It is all in how I choose to look at the type of session and the people I am capturing. I'm learning to adjust and I love watching my growth over the last several years. It is amazing how much changes when you get out there to do what you love.
Newborn Lifestyle Session
Well, all of this to say that I loved this newborn lifestyle session. I was overjoyed with how it turned out. Seeing the way these two looked at their new baby girl brought me so much joy. Maybe I was overly excited because they are my friends or maybe it was because I was pregnant. Either way, I'm glad I said yes to capturing these little moments.
